On February 22, 2009, a virga case developed at about 3 UTC. About 7 hours later, at 10 UTC, snow touched the ground as temperatures dropped below freezing and the relative humidity jumped. The snow continued to the end of the storm. The storm dropped 1.6 inches (4.1 cm) of snowfall. The snow-water equivalent was 0.05 inches (0.13 cm).
