On February 3, 2009, a virga case developed at about 16 UTC. About 1 hour later, at 17 UTC, snow touched the ground as temperatures remained below freezing and relative humidity jumped. Snow continued to the end of the storm despite no radar reflectivity readings between 5:30 UTC and 21:30 UTC. The storm dropped 6.4 inches (16.3 cm) of snowfall.
