On December 26, 2006, a shallow rain storm developed about 7:30 UTC. Temperatures at the start of the storm were well above freezing. As temperatures dropped dramatically, the rain turned to snow, which fell from 15 UTC to 2 UTC the next day. The storm dropped a 0.5 inches (1.3 cm) of snowfall.
