On December 6, 2008, a virga case developed at about 13:30 UTC. About 5 hours later, at about 18:30 UTC, rain reached the ground as the relative humidity spiked. Virga formed again as the relative humidity dropped. Rain fell about 4 UTC as the relative humidity rose before turning back into virga, which continued to the end of the storm.
